2024 Midway USA AiA Tournament Trail
Table Rock Lake Division kickoff, presented by Bait Cave Customs

WOW….what a start to the 2024 AiA Table Rock Lake Division. A total of 151 boats convened upon the Table Rock Lake Resort ramp on Sunday, March 17th, ready to battle it out on a lake that has been on absolute fire recently. Anglers were facing cloudy skies, temps in the low to mid 50’s, and windy conditions throughout the tournament day.
Coming off of a win the previous day, Wyatt Marler, 19, of Old Field, MO, and his teammate Nick Lawler, 19, of Ava, MO, were hoping to make it back to back wins for the weekend.
When boat 129 was called, Nick and Wyatt idled by the livewell check and blasted off up the White River, ready to continue where they had left off the previous day. Wyatt and Nick found their fish on flats and shallow areas near channel swings, and boy did they find them.
Using primarily jerkbaits and the a-rig, Nick and Wyatt fished and caught their way to over 30 lbs. of bass…BY 10AM on Sunday, including a 7.83 lb. GIANT!
With their livewells filled, they decided to headed back down towards the weigh-in site, where they killed some time fishing around the bridge, and kicked around having a pizza delivered down to them 🙂
At 3pm, they headed over to weigh-in, loaded up their bag, and made Anglers in Action history with the first 30 pound bag to come across our scales, 30.76 lbs. to be exact. What a Day these young men had! Congratulations guys and ENJOY the WIN!
