HOPPING & DILL SMASH 21.25 LBS. TO WIN SEASON FINALE AT LOZ
Congratulations to Ryan Hopping and David Dill on their win at the final 2024 AiA Lake of the Ozarks Division tournament. David and Ryan headed up the Glaize Arm on Sunday morning, ready to battle it out on what’s been a tough bite recently at LOZ. They decided to stick with the trusty spinnerbait all day, chartreuse/white in color, and man did it pay off. Targeting shallow flats up the Glaize, they culled up their best 5 bass throughout the day, headed to weigh-in, and locked in their winning bag on the AiA scales with 21.25 lbs.
Ryan and David landed $10,000 in AiA winnings, plus another $8,000 in Phoenix First Flight money. It pays to run a Phoenix Boat. Congratulations gentlemen!
2nd place overall went to the team of Brock Bila and Josh Pladies. Josh and Brock wrangled up 20.34 lbs. on Sunday, using glidebaits around docks early then later in the day targeting bass out deeper on main lake points. Brock and Josh took home a solid $4,300 for their efforts. Congrats boys!
Dave Wolf and Donnie Snelling smashed 20.08 lbs., good for 3rd place overall, and landed a 6.37 lb. bighead that took the Lew’s Big Bass of the tournament. Donnie and Dave won a total of $3,952. Congratulations gentlemen!
Congratulations to Ryan Jordan and Cole McFarland, your 2024 Lake of the Ozarks Division Champions. Cole and Ryan will receive boat #1 at all 2025 LOZ tournaments, $500 cash, and Division Champ plaques. Great work guys!
