MARIE'S MEMORIAL BASS CHALLENGE
Join us at Lake of the Ozarks on November 29, 2025, for Marie’s Memorial Bass Challenge. Marie, along with her husband & daughter, were hit by a drunk boater at Lake of the Ozarks on the evening of July 24, 2020. Marie was killed instantly, and her husband & daughter suffered serious, life altering injuries.
This tournament, formerly known as the Thanksgiving Weekend Bass Challenge, was always one of Marie’s favorite events to host. In honor of Marie, we continue this tournament in her name. Marie was on the front line of Anglers in Action Tournament Trail & the Big Bass Bash since our inception in 2006. For 14 years, she poured her heart & soul into running the best bass tournaments in the Midwest, and we strive to continue that in her name still today. Marie is missed all day, every day.

Tournament Location: Grand Glaize State Park (PB2) in Osage Beach, MO
Hours: 7am-3pm
Entry Fee: $200/boat

> In Person – Friday, November 28, from 4pm-6pm at the Grand Glaize State Park in Osage Beach, MO. You can also register the morning of the tournament starting at 5:30am.

The team with the closest weight (over or under) to Marie’s Birthday, 8.20 lbs., will win $500, courtesy of Brent Algeo with Purkleen.
