BAITWRX Big Bass Bash, presented by AFTCO
Lake of the Ozarks: April 20-21, 2024
What a weekend it was at the 2024 BaitWrx Spring Big Bass Bash, presented by Aftco. Anglers from across the country made their way to central Missouri to take part in one of the largest amateur based fishing tournaments in the country.
Over $335,000 in guaranteed cash and prizes was on the line, including a massive $100,000 top prize to the lucky angler that landed the heaviest bass of the event. The Big Bass Bash also pays hundreds of bi-hourly payouts throughout the weekend, 360 to be exact, totaling over $144,000. Plus, numerous $500 exact weights, a Phoenix Boat drawing, $5,000 food drive drawing..and much more.

TINSLEY LANDS $100,000 PAYDAY
Shane Tinsley took home the Grand Prize of $100,000 for his 7.63 lb. giant he caught towards the end of the day on Sunday. Shane hooked into this bass around 2pm on the final day of the event, raced over to the Alhonna Resort weigh-in station, got her on the scales where she weighed in at 7.63 lbs.
With his 1st place bi-hourly time slot win, and the 1st place overall prize, Shane took home an astounding $101,500 payday. Congratulations again to Shane Tinsley, your 2024 Big Bass Bash Champion!

Andy Ladenberger, of Fenton, MO, placed 2nd overall and took home a $20,000 payday. Andy took the lead early on Saturday with a 7.42 lb. bass that he weighed in at the Alhonna Resort weigh-in station, and held that lead until around 2:30pm on Sunday. Andy caught his fish on a spinnerbait on the back corner of a dock, and said it was “pure luck” when that big girl slammed his bait. Congratulations, Andy!
Jason Rehg, of Wright City, MO, landed a $10,000 payday and 3rd Place Overall with this 7.26 bass. Jason weighed in his winning catch at the Red Oak Resort weigh-in station during the 11am-1pm time slot on Saturday. He landed his bass on a black/blue jig while fishing up the Niangua Arm. Congratulations, Jason!
Steven Reynolds, of St. Louis, MO, wrapped up 4th Place Overall and a $5,000 payday with this 7.25 lb. toad he caught on Saturday during the 11am-1pm time slot. Steven weighed in his winning bass at the Point Randall Resort weigh-in station, and reported catching it on a green pumpkin brush hog just a couple coves down from Point Randall Resort. Congratulations, Steven!
1st place in the Ladies Division went to Debra Kloxin of Arkansas City, KS. Debra caught her 6.12 lb. bass up the Glaize Arm on a black/gold buzzbait and weighed it in at the PB2 weigh-in station on Sunday during the 6:30am-9am time slot. That bass landed Debra a cool $2,200. Congratulations, Debra!
