2024 Cherokee Casino Grove Big Bass Bash, presented by Black Rain Ordnance

What a weekend it was at the 2024 Cherokee Casino Grove Big Bass Bash, presented by Black Rain Ordnance. Anglers from across the country made their way to Oklahoma’s, Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees, vying for their shot at the massive $100,000 grand prize for the biggest bass of this event.

TORKLESON LANDS $100,000 BASS!
Congratulations to Alex Torkleson, of Coweta, OK, on his huge win at the 2024 Grand Lake Big Bass Bash. Alex weighed in his 6.29 lb. winning bass at the Southwinds Marina weigh-in station during the 10am-12pm time slot on Sunday. He reported catching his winning bass down lake towards the dam on a hair jig in around 20 feet of water.
Alex landed a $100,000 payday for 1st place overall, plus another $1,000 for his time slot win. Congratulations again to Alex Torkleson, your 2024 Grand Lake Big Bass Bash Champion!
Kevin Rich, of Cushing, OK, took 2nd place overall for the event. Kevin weighed in his $15,000 bass at the Southwinds Marina weigh-in station during the 10am-12pm time slot on Sunday.
Kevin caught his fish down lake, dragging a carolina-rig in approximately 13 to 14 feet of water. Congratulations, Kevin, and thank you for fishing the 2024 Grand Lake Big Bass Bash.
3rd Place Overall went to Ronny DeNayer, of Frontenac, KS. Ronny weighed in his 6.19 lb. bass at the Wolf Creek weigh-in station on Sunday during the 10am-12pm time slot.
Ronny reported fishing around the mouth of the Elk River, and caught his $10,000 bass on a soft plastic bait. Congratulations, Ronny!
Rob Greer, of Joplin, MO, took 4th Place Overall for the event. Rob led after Day 1 of the Big Bass Bash, weighing in his 6.18 lb. bass in the first time slot on Saturday at the Wolf Creek weigh-in station. Rob landed a $5,000 payday for his 4th place finish. Congratulations, Rob.
